KS was moving back from an apartment where he had lived overseas for the past 12 years. He was looking for a much larger, 10,000 sq ft plus home within close proximity to London and the airports, as his job involved frequent travel. He had tried to conduct the search on his own previously but was only able to do this on an ad hoc basis during fleeting visits back to London. Finding this very stressful, he realised that he needed professional help to manage the search on his behalf.

Criteria

A large, high-spec, modern house with plenty of space to entertain family and friends and host friends to stay for long periods of time. Security was paramount, as he frequently travelled, so we identified private roads in some of Surrey’s most prestigious estates as being the ideal location.

On The Ground

We worked with him for several months and viewed a large number of on and off-market properties on his behalf, providing detailed reports including comparative house prices and beyond the brochure information, plus video walk-throughs and sent them to him while he travelled. When he was in the UK, we coordinated viewing days to show him the very best of what we had found.

Finding & Securing The House

Most of the 74 houses that we viewed on his behalf were off-market, and we managed to whittle down the options to two potential homes before he decided to offer on a large, secure property with extensive grounds and excellent leisure facilities on the Wentworth Estate in Virginia Water. Alongside an interior designer, we arranged for new furniture to be delivered on moving-in day and were on-site to meet the removals company, helping to set the house up ready for him to begin his new life back in the UK.
